I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (SUNY ESF). I recently completed my dissertation, titled: "Roadside Tree Removal: Causes, Consequences, and Who Decides." I research environmental impacts of transportation policy and infrastructure using spatial analysis and qualitative methods. Prior to beginning a PhD, I worked as an urban designer at a street design firm in New Jersey and as a transportation planning consultant in cities and towns around the country. I'm a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Landscape and Environmental Design Committee.
